Robert joined the bennettbrooks team in early 2023, he brings with him many years experience of advising clients in the rural sector and specialises in accounts and tax planning for farms, rural businesses and landed estates.

Robert’s rural roots began in Gloucestershire where he attended the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester where he trained in Rural Land Management.  His background and knowledge in the rural sector has been built over many years’ experience working with rural business owners including Farmers, Estates and Diversified Rural Businesses.  His expertise provides clients with a broad offering in terms of Trusts and Inheritance Tax and he is able to produce Accounts for the often complex structures required in Agricultural businesses.  Robert advises and offers advice in all aspects of tax and producing accounts suitable for the complex structures required in agricultural businesses.   He works with Landed Estates, Farmers and diversified Rural Businesses including farm shops, B&B’s and specialises in Tax Planning including Capital Gains, Inheritance and Personal Tax
