As part of our commitment to becoming a B Corp organisation, bennettbrooks have had solar panels installed at our Leek office on Cross Street.
Utilising solar power is part of the businesses ongoing efforts to reduce its environmental impact and embrace clean energy solutions. In the last twelve months we have fitted three of our sites with solar panels, with additional installations planned for several of our premises in the future.
Through the installation of solar panels, bennettbrooks are taking a proactive stance in mitigating our carbon footprint and transitioning towards a greener future. Managing Director Yvonne Wood commented “Our Leek office is the third of our premises to have solar panels fitted. These panels will generate clean, renewable energy to power our office spaces, reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, and contribute to a more sustainable energy system”.
Since their installation in July, the Leek office solar panels have generated 1.38MWh, saving 268.2kg of CO2 emissions – the equivalent of 16 trees.
