Members of our Macclesfield team have been busy volunteering at the Rossendale Trust recently.
The volunteer programme at bennettbrooks gives all employees paid time off to give back to local community groups or charities by taking part in activities that are meaningful to them.
The Macclesfield office chose The Rossendale Trust as their charity of the year and since June, members of the team have attended their Golden Ball, volunteered at their Summer Fete and attended their charity golf tournament.
In the last few weeks, the team have been on site helping the charity with some hands-on work in the grounds of Rossendale Hall. Time was spent tidying up the drive, weeding and planting some bulbs ready for the spring. The team enjoyed their time out of the office, and found the experience of giving back incredibly rewarding. Everyone is looking forward to re-visiting next year to see the fruits of their labour and undertaking a new project to help support the charity.
