Carols in the City 2024

On Wednesday 4th December, people gathered underneath the Christmas lights in the centre of Chester to attend Carols in the City to mark the start of the festive season and to give back and support a local foodbank.

The event which had previously been held in the courtyard at Grosvenor Court found itself in new surroundings in the heart of the city, next to the wooden huts of the Christmas Market Traders and close to the Cathedral and Town Hall.  Guest were treated to open air performances from the chorus of beautiful voices that make up the Chester Rock Choir and the unmistakable sound of carols played by the Bluecoat Brass Band.

The event was organised and supported by a team from bennettbrooks Chester office, Aaron & Partners LLP, Leonard Curtis, Manleys Solicitors and Savills., who invited guests to enjoy the festivities and also bring along food donations on the night that were collected by the West Cheshire Foodbank. The organising businesses also made financial contributions towards the Chester City Council Christmas Lights Campaign.
