Claire is an FCA with nearly 30 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant working in audit, forensic accounting, and general practice, with extensive experience in a Big 4 firm as well as working as a sole practitioner for a number of years.

She joined Bennett Brooks in 2018 with a desire to be part of a larger team in a busy and thriving regional practice and to contribute positively to the growth and success of small businesses across the North West. She runs Bennett Brooks’ Chester-based small business team and is a cloud accounting and apps enthusiast – she loves finding out about a new solutions to take the hassle out of a client’s business.  She also deals with any forensic accounting work which comes into the practice, along with colleague Maureen Byrne, in particular business valuations in matters of divorce or shareholder/partnership disputes, acting as single joint expert or shadow expert.
